Just went to check out a Brake-Lite I just bought recently (on here) and noticed that the pot is broken . It just spins and it looks like the pot itself came apart. Anybody know if this is fixable or did I just throw $125 into the dumpster? The reason I am just checking it out is BC I bought it for a new amp that just arrived...I guess I learned that I should always check everything out as soon sas it arrives! Duh!

It should be fixable , it's a rotary switch that's broken I believe. Probably can get the part from the Z people.

Have you contacted the seller about this issue?

No, I have not. I figure, I should have checked it out more carefully when I first got it. I just had a similar thing happen to an older one from my Maz 18NR I bought a few years ago. Thing is, I set it and forget it, I never use the switch basically. The first time I did in a long time, bingo! Maybe I will contact the seller but I would feel a little funny about that! I sent the other one to the Doctor BTW!

Someone told me they shifted from chicken head knobs to small round knobs to remove some of the force applied to the switch because of breakage issues. This may be incorrect tho.

i bought mine from a z-brother on here and it came broken in the same manner. Sent it off to the Doc's shop and they had it turned around to me in no time.
