I'm pretty sure this KT-45 was on Ebay not to long ago that we had a thread about...
And, I think its the KT-45 I played at a GC. It had some problems and all I could get out of it was a low buzzy/fizzy guitar sound. It looks like the transformer barely fit and was shoved into the head shell to make it fit. If has been fixed up since then it's a great price.

A couple years back when I played that one it seemed okay, but someone else local here in the forum warned us about it...

does it have the wrong head shell? Looks a little like a Z28, KT-45 should look like a RT66, eh? Maybe I'm hallucinatin' again...

A little later the Doc switched to the Route 66/Delta 88 box. Check out the pic of the one on Doc's own site: www.drzamps.com/kt45.htmlIt looks just like the "ebay" one. Phil

Tim -
Yeah, that's the one I played about a year and a half ago and it wasn't working. He quoted me a ridiculously (high) price for it broken. He called me back a few days later and said I could have it for $299.00. Unfortunately, I was out and the amp was sold...
So it looks like the transformer was kind of "jammed" into the cabinet by design at that time...

How do you guys know that was the "broken" KT-45 from the earlier auction? It looked pretty good in those crappy Ebay low-res pics to me; did I miss something? I thought that other one had obvious signs of wear and tear......
