One for show, one for fun. Several folks have asked how this amp does when you roll back the volume control. So that's the focus of this first clip: Grosh Retro Classic VT > Mazerati GT > Airbrake (Bedroom full) > Celestion Alnico Gold GT Settings: Tone: Noon Volume: Noon The clip starts with the guitar full up, then I roll it back and play a bit. You can tell when I move the guitar volume. It doesn't completely clean up, and I had to roll the volume a long way to get to this much cleanup, but it does clean up some. If the amp volume is much above noon, forget about getting much clean up at all. GT_WildThenMild.mp3This one is me reliving my youth! Grosh Bent Top Custom > Mazerati GT > Airbrake (Bedroom full) > Celestion Alnico Gold GT Settings: Tone: Noon Volume: 2 o'clock GT_PsychoDelic.mp3Hehehehehe....

Thanks for those clips. That's exactly what I was hoping to hear from the rolled back clip. I knew the amp wouldn't be super clean, instead going more for that mildy driven rhythm sound that I think you nailed. Nice job.

Steve, Have you tried the GT with single coils? The front end of the amp is very sensitive to pickup differences. It cleans up a lot more with the Fralin Vintage Hots in my Strat vs. humbuckers.....

Phil Yeah, the first clip is my Grosh Retro Classic VT (Tele) which is a Fralin Blues Special. I realized after I put this statement there that the opposite is true - the further to the left you put the volume, the better the cleanup.
