I've never posted clips of my Jr. before and I have a few now so I thought I would. They're both songs from my band's demo. The first song is called Yahweh and the electric part is my Heritage H535, Keeley Compressor, and BB Preamp into my Jr. set on the Doc's British Chime setting. homepage.mac.com/thirdday87/yahweh.mp3The second is called I Am and the rhythm electric is my H535 clean into the amp with compressor, the lead parts add an AC booster, and the guitar solo is my strat and RC booster all with the amp on the British Chime setting. homepage.mac.com/thirdday87/iam.mp3Hope you like it.

Anyone? Any comments? It's ok if they're criticism. I just get this strange feeling when I post on this board that I've got something weird in my profile that says don't respond to me. Overdramatic I know, but anyway. Comments anyone?

Enjoyed the links! Thanks for sharing. In regard to the 2nd post, I've noticed when clips are posted where the guitar is largely rhythm back in the mix and vocals are the feature, the comments are slow coming. Majority of the clips that get replies are uber guitar - either straight guitar only, guitar featured over a backing track, or solo sections where the guitar is up front - being that the clips are about guitar/tone. So, I wouldn't worry.

Nice tunes. , but to me everything sounds compressed besides the vocals. Maybe I'm hearing things with tired ears, but If I were you, I'd bring the guitar up in the mix, and forget about the compressor. Thanks for posting

Thanks guys. I do run a compressor some when using the 535 which I think helps me control the guitar, but I bet our engineer used some compression as well which adds to it. We're all students and learning how to record (including the engineer) so I'll definitely take that advice next time we go to record something.

Nice tunes, and I agree with the previous posters, the guitar is very laid back in that mix, the vocals are way too forward (in relation) in my opinion, but thanks for sharing!

Not bad. Is it an original?
I'm with the boys on this one. Bring the guitars up in the mix.
