It really is therapeutic to play the Dr Z Therapy. This is my first Z above 20watts and it really vibrates the whole being. Mine was in need of the Therapy today and it really did work. Had a ton of fun having a full tone stack...since I have not used one in years I didn't have any ideas of settings, and I didn't have any pre conceived ideas of what the amp would sound like either. I just loved it....right out of the gate I could tell it was hitting harder than either previous Z's ... Ghia/Monza. Whew, really pushes the sound right into you and can really release tension and satisfy the man. The setting I took a picture of is especially therapeutic - the bass feels like an actual bass player is playing with you if your thumpin' the ol' boom chuck kinda blues...This looks to be about the funnest thing I've come across in forever. Easily my new favorite. Extremely beautiful sounding and feeling.

Lightnin' Hopkins would of loved this amp, Muddy Waters would of loved this amp, Black Keys would love this amp....lots of sonic flavors in this amp and sounds terrific at all volumes. It really is a therapeutic feeling amp...powerful sounding and full. Super responsive and the 6L6 sound is a sweet, smooth flavor that has a lot less ear fatigue to me even after hours of play. Compared to my other amps this Therapy, even though it is louder and more powerful has less negative effects on my ears. With the bass on ten .... it's sub like - - do a little boogie woogie (my lightnin' hopkins setting below)

Nice, you got one! Were there any casualties in the acquisition? . Pretty smokin amp huh? Congrats. Yes, however the casualties were by design as I am feeling pretty dang sure that the Therapy can, does and will perform at any level I want to from here on out with ease. I forgot how nice it was to have serious clean headroom....this will be my one and only for the next leg of the journey.

Congrats, enjoy the Therapy. Really enjoyed your sound with the Ghia and Monza, looking forward to hearing clips with this one.
I can definitely relate to rediscovering clean headroom. I've been playing a Maz18 forever now, and have been seriously craving something super clean and Fendery for a couple months now. No way i'd ever sell my Maz, but itching for an alternative. A Therapy or Galaxie would probably be my first choice over anything else, if i had that kind of cash right now.
cheers, enjoy!

NICE! Great looking rig. Congrats man! I'm saving for Therapy myself. I think it will go well with my StangRays. Enjoy!! Thanks Ron. I think that the Therapy could accompany a lot of different amps and really compliment them. The Stangray being more british and the american nature of the Therapy seem like peanut butter and chocolate to me brother!
