Posting this not necessarily for the guitar work but rather for the great classic pop/rock song that it is. I always wanted to give playing and singing this song a try in a band with horns. We started working this one about three weeks ago, and when a gig canceled on us last Saturday we decided to set up mics and try recording the set. Live - warts and all. The music is one take and the vocals were added a week later. Just mixed it down on the Yamaha this morning. We played it live for the first time on July 4th at a local festival and it was a highlight song. Lots of fun. Always hits me like a tall shot of coffee. :-) Hope you enjoy our take on this classic Ides of March tune. www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=639765Guitar info: Chapin tele into Dr Z Carmen Ghia & 1-12 Greenback. Wonderfully simple, cuts through nicely, and cleans up warmly when needed. The easiest part of recording that day was my guitar tone. The Ghia is my new go-to amp when the red light comes on. Hope that you enjoy it. Moses

Definitely a great song...a good fit for your voice, and the Tele/ Ghia rig was ripping.

Great classic tune. Love those horns! Since I'm a fairly new Ghia owner I'm giving most of the Ghia posts a listen. Thanks for sharing the song.
