Well I finally got around to making some clips of my new Classic Antique. The first is a backing track called Bluesbacking and I'm just going through my Luxury Drive clean boost into my Maz Jr. I start with the bridge pickup tapped and then neck pup tapped and then bridge in stacked mode so you can hear the different settings. In the 2nd tune, Gambale, I start with stacked bridge (through my Eternity) then tapped neck and then back to stacked bridge (I think). www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=710085Here's a pic:

VERY NICE INDEED SIR! Soulful! Beauty of a guitar, kinda hard to tell from the pic but is it honeyburst?

Hail to our newest Kahuna . As usual Gary, very nice tone and playing. Would love to be able play like that...like water running out a tap...fluid. Looking forward to seeing her tonight. Once again, great clips.

Sweet, Gary! Gambale rocks me big time. Do you remember the settings on the Jr for that one?

Sweet, Gary! Gambale rocks me big time. Do you remember the settings on the Jr for that one? I do. Pretty straight forward. I'm using the low gain input with volume at 9:00, T, M, & B at 12:00, master full up and cut at about 10:00. The eternity was set pretty low gain at 10:00. I also used some delay. There's not as much gain happening as you would think. P-90s are pretty midrangey so don't need as much.

Gary, Great playing and tone. How do you like this LP model? It looks gorgeous. How much does it weigh? Excellent job! Rick

Thanks. I am going to be a long time learning the nuances of my Jr. T, M, & B at 12:00 pretty much while exploring the Cut lately.
Those new P90s sound tempting. I think Midtown Music had a few just like yours last time I was there and I did not look twice. Hmm... no... must pay taxes...

Hey Gary, very nice work. The Les Paul really sings as well as it is beautiful. I hope to add one to my rig some day. Even though I've had my PRS custom 24 since the 90s, I still find it difficult substituting it. But, who knows what will happen after having the opportunity to play such an renowned instrument.

very nice Gary, loved Satin Doll, haven't heard or played that one in years. I'll be in your neck of the woods in Oct., my wife and I are staying in Bar Harbor for a week, during that time we want to take the Cat ( the old blue nose ) over to Nova Scotia....I haven't been there in 20 yrs. Maybe we can hook up

That would be really cool. Another forum member, Seaking (Bill Bruce), lives ten minutes away from me too. That would be awesome to hook up.

Your tone and playing on Outside My Window is just outstanding. The tone is fat and juicy, like early Larry Carlton stuff and I really dig all the outside notes you play.
That is just the Maz Jr.? I've been looking for a good EL84 amp and this may be the ticket.
Sweet Les Paul too!

Thanks somuch for the comments guys. Yeah, that's a Maz on all my clips (more on my putfile site in my sig BTW). The guitar on Ouside the window is my Korean Tokai Love Rock with DiMarzio virtual P-90s, using the neck pup. That's a nice guit too. I was thinking about selling it now that I have the new LP but for the money I'd get for it, I may as well keep it. Here's a pic of it with my boy posin' for the camera.
