I took my Route 66 and 1-12 Z cabinet to a loud jam tonight. All knobs at 3, Brake-Lite on 2 clicks, cabled straight in to a Stratocaster and all I can say is "Wow!"

That must've been loud even with the two clicks. It's a great setting, huh? I only wish I got to use it someplace other than in my basement where I can only do it for about a minute before the ringing starts in.

I'm thinking my next Z might be the Z-28 so I can use it in quieter places.

I've had the route and the 28 at varying times, and the 333 setting is REALLY loud on both. Frankly, I didn't hear/feel much difference in volume between the two at that setting. It's pretty much all singed pubes at that point.
