DRZ Therapy with 12 inch Eminence Swamp Thing, PCNS cables on everything, recorded with room mic 5-6 feet away. Reverb pedal used on tracks 2,4,5. Wet reverb and Boss/Fender reverb pedal. Great amp !

One more tid bit. The strat clips were actually using the Swamp Thing and a V30. Though the V30 was off to the side of the mic. It did add some character though. Thanks my Brothas

thanks guys, appreciate the encouraging words.....I have done some of my own speaker swapping. The Swamp Thing is by far my fave. The Cannabis Rex a second. Love the V30, but more so with Fender style guitars. I tried the creamback, Gold, Blue, vintage JBL, EVM, Big Ben, Red White and Blues, Tonker, DRZ 2-10 cab, and some others I'm probably forgetting. Also, I noticed the amp did soften up just a little after playing it almost wide open for a few months. I had some 7581's in there, one went micro phonic ended up putting the JJ's back in there. Really like the amp for lower volume things, the MV is one of the most useable of any amp I have played. If I were to gig it, I would probably use a pedalboard, and have the volume over half. But it can get nice and gainy on it's own as you can hear. Hope I did the Therapy justice. And a special thanks again to my ol'e buddy DRZ and thanks to Todd for the great cables used in the demo. The PCNS cables worked flawlessly throughout, and sounded great. And BTW blackout Therapy's sound better !!!

Thanks for a sweet demo Frankie!
If I hadn't just bought a Therapy I would have bought one after listening to the killer tones you got out of each guitar.

.....I have done some of my own speaker swapping. The Swamp Thing is by far my fave. The Cannabis Rex a second. Cool video Frankie. Can you elaborate on the differences between the Swamp Thing and C Rex? I have a C Rex and wondering what you liked better about the Swamp Thing with this amp in particular. So far I've tried several of the usual celestions and personally like the C Rex better by far. I don't have a swamp thing, so just wondering if you could shed any light on the differences. Thanks. And keep those view coming. Love em.

The Swamp Thing has a little stronger low end. The speaker sounds like it was custom voiced for this amp IMO. Two C Rex in the 2-12 cab really rocked. But the ST is the my favorite , balanced, and it holds together better when pushed. I'm sure it would be just as good with some of the other Z models too .

Really nice tones, Frankie. Superb touch! I notice that the 335 on the neck pickup is a lot brighter sounding than mine is. I'm running a Creamback 1x12 with mine, open back configuration. You mentioned that the bottom end of the Swamp Thing was better than others. Is it also brighter? Thanks, Frankie...Very nice playing!
