Here's a tune that I just finished called What You Want. It was a blast to play with my Strat & Maz Jr on the rhythms and lead. This might be the first example of putting a vocal through a Z. I needed a little something different in the 2nd bridge, and I ended up putting it through the Maz. www.MikeZBand.com/music/WhatYouWantDraft3.mp3

Great job. I really dug everything about it. What effects did you use?

Sounds great! I also like the effect you did through the Z for the 2nd bridge--shows creativity. Very cool. Thanks for sharing.

Hey, thanks for the kind comments.
ShortyZ - I just put some delay and reverb into the mix after recording the Z dry and with the guitar straight into the amp.
It's fun recording when you start with such great tone in the amp and guitar.

Really nice. The opening couple of bars really nail the classic rock Z sound.

WAY COOL Mike Z. Is that a Greenback in your JR ? If it is it sure sounds nice, thanks for posting.

Well, it's a Greenback in the Maz Jr, but the recording is via a Randall IsoCab with a Celestion V30. The IsoCab has worked pretty well for recording. The cats probably think that there is a monster in the basement closet, but the wife is very happy in the rest of the house.
Your Greenback in the Maz has something special whether it's your cabinet or the British Greenback. I miss it for recording, but I'm definitely not going to pull the speaker from something that sounds so good straight from the factory.
By the way, thank you for the tone.
