Hey, gang... I just finished playing on a record for some dear friends of mine, a duo called "Thompson Square."
Keith "Keifer" Thompson and his wife Shawna are both AMAZING singers. Shawna sings like an angel, very much in the Allison Krauss vein. And Keifer is a super songwriter that is one of the "up & comers" in Nashville. He's already written a bunch of songs with established heavyweights. He's also a great singer, sounds sort of like a mix of Darryl Worley & Kenny Cheesey....er... I mean Chesney.
They've put three of their new songs on their MySpace site. I used Dunlavey Strat & Tele through Keeley effects and the MAZ Jr on all of these.

Keep in mind that the music is "current country," so it's not extremely guitar driven. Plus, the MySpace MP3 player squashes the tracks down pretty heavily. But there are some parts on there that you guys & gals might be interested in hearing. Really a good showcase of how versatile the MAZ amps are.
Generally, the basic track would be clean Tele, or slightly sirty with the Keeley BD-2. Then second tracks are usually Strat with different degrees of dirt for fills, lead lines, solos, etc.
For the "guitar heads," the three songs on their MySpace are like this-
"Joneses"- Dirty Tele rhythm track, clean Tele/neck pickup on the 2nd verse fills. Chimey Strat chordal stuff on the chorus & outro. Cool pop/country power ballad.
"Kennesaw"- This is a "radio friendly ditty." Sort of like something Chesney would do. Slightly dirty Tele on rhythm track & solo, slightly dirty Strat/neck pickup chunking rhythm. On the outro, there are some trade-offs between dobro and guitar. I was playing some slightly wacky stuff on the Tele that the producer said "Think Paisley."
"Anywhere But Here" Really elegant ballad, clean Strat/position 4 with delay. Lots of fills throughout the song, lead lines on the outro. Yes, I TOTALLY ripped Vince Gill off with this tone and feel... ;D (Thanks Vince!)
