I put an Eminence Lil Buddy in my 1x10 last night and wowsers!!! It advertises slower breakup and a "subdued" top end but a very sweet sounding combination. It must be something with the mid hump of Z28 combined with these unique nuances of the speaker... it sounds dynamite!!! I use an original Gristle King and Crunchbox V2 for boost and 2 levels of gain... and the settings with a click or 2 of the BL are
Volume - 10-12 Treble - 12 Bass - 12

I was just checking out that speaker last night and thinking about trying it out . I've got a Monza and a Ghia that I'd like to hear cranked up thru it. What were you using before the switch ?

Several years ago I put one in a Fender ProJunior I was using for jazz rehearsals and smaller jobs; it was really good for that application.

This has probably been discussed but yesterday I slapped a WGS ET-65 in my Z28 and completely loved it. The funny thing is that this speaker also sounds very good with my EZG-50. Very fendery with a hint of British which helps the chime. I replaced a V30 and for what my ears like to hear this is a better fit.
