This FD2 as a clean boost rocks. It really takes an off-the-shelf TS9 RI and adds some serious girth to the tone. Here's a vid. Pay attention to everything except the playing:) The wah is a Fulltone Clyde (old style)

Very cool tone, looks like you and your gear get stuck in the "Storage" room as I'm sure so many of us do. Cool playing too. Try it at 18vlts and see what happens to the FD2

I'll have to get a DC brick or PP2, as I run everything off battteries for now.
I'm happy at 9V, so I'm not super anxious to try the 18V.

Cool clip again. Love the boosted signal. Is that your Stang Ray you're playing through? It's got some bite even with your clean sound. Very nice. Thanks for the clip.

Yes, just a bone stock 'Ray.
The Blues are shifting, I think. I can run the cut up a lot higher than when it was new before it starts to get overbearing.
Sorry for the annoying repetitive loop in the bg, but since I don't have anything else, ya just have to do what you have to do.
I was honestly expecting the FD2 to replace the TS9, since everyone had told me they are so similar. Maybe through another amp, but the 'Ray reveals even the slightest details.
I'm keeping both, and may send off the TS to Keeley for a dee-luxe mod.
The clean isn't crystal clean because of the Hot Plate, I suspect. Fine with me-- the clean sound on the "demo" is exactly the clean I've wanted for ages and now I have it!!!
I shot some other vids of the MOSFET mode and Flat Mids mode, too-- I'll get those up later..
