I have a Brake Lite SA, can I run it with just the Maz 18 Jr amp, not the extension cab, I have a Y cable. But can I just run out of one side of the Brake Lite SA ?

could you explain better, what you intend to do? do you have a combo, or just the head...

Yeah a better description would be helpful.
Note that with any of Dr. Z's brakes, you have to have at least one speaker connected - the Brake Lite is not a load, it is a power reducing circuit, so the amp still relies on the speaker's impedance for loading. There are other products that do that, but not these.

Assuming you have a combo and an ext cab, as your avatar pic suggests, then "yes." As noted by the guys above, you do have to plug into a speaker.
Let's say you are going to just run the combo. Plug the BL into the 8-ohm output jack -- I assume you have 8 ohm speakers in both the combo and cab -- on the MAZ and connect the internal speaker to either BL output. You could, alternatively, leave the internal speaker disconnected and use just the ext cab.
If you want to run the internal and external speakers, then attach the BL to the 4-ohm output and connect the internal speaker to one output on the BL and the cab to the other.
I don't think you need the Y-cable with the BL since it has two output jacks specifically for this purpose. Without the BL in the circuit, then the Y-cable is the way to go to run both speakers.

Sorry I wasn't clear in my intent, doctorice, you answered my question, I just wanted to know if I could use the SA just on my 1X12 combo and not my extension, by running out of one side of the SA. Thank you all for your help.

One tip, which you may have seen already: Set the BL to a greater amount of attenuation than you want, then dial in the amp and let your ears get used to it. Then back off on the amount of attenuation.
Going the other way -- from loud to quiet -- seems to trick most of our ears into thinking tone sucking is going on. Well, perhaps to some extent (speaker not being pushed as hard, e.g.) that's true, but it's never bothered me compared with the flexibility of matching the amp's output to the room.
Steve (benttop) made some neat recordings demonstrating this.

If you care to listen to a lot of horrible wankish guitar playing, the attenuator test is still here in the Audio section: Attenuator Test
