Recently I have been getting a nasty rattle from the strap screw covers. Is there a "low impact" way to resolve this? Has anybody else had this issue in the past?
Thanks in advance for the assistance.

Not an uncommon problem with those straps on any brand of amp. Easiest thing to do is pry off the cover, then gently squeeze the cover to make it fit tighter and then snap it back on. Some folks just leave them off. I would try the amp with them off just to make sure that is what you are hearing.

there is a thread here on how to do this so you don't bugger up the cover...nice chrome covers these come with are not that easily replaceable.
Ive tried searching for video here.. youll want to take thin putty knife... but it up against the loose handle so as not to damage tolex...take small screw driver and pop the cover carefully...don't over tighten screws though.

Man I had a hard and I mean HARD time getting those popped off with a cab I've got, but I did get them off and hand tightened the screws and put them back on then tightened them up and it worked nice. I heard that some folks stuff something inside them to further prevent rattle, anyone ever do that?

UPDATE:
I popped off the caps, insulated them, reinstalled, and tested... rattle continues...
I pulled out the board and, upon gently rapping on the chassis, was able to replicate the noise. I found that the large capacitor (blue) had extremely long leads and was vibrating, as well as causing the board to vibrate. The cap was "rolled" closer to the board and hot glued in place and now there is no vibration at all. Well...the plastic on the back of chassis still needs to be reglued, but at least that is being held down by the wooden back panel.
