Whiskey-River-Live-at-Big-DaddysAll out version of Willies Whiskey River with a few twin guitar fills and a lead ride that I like to refer to as "mass confusion at high volume" The more I hear of this live recording I think I overplay too much My low E was out of tune after the lead ride but what the heck...its live, loud and proud. Hope ya'll like it. EDIT: Listened again, low E is out of tune for the entire song! Yuck!

Dude, bad arse!!! Nice tone! Any pedals, or just cranked amp? Who cares if the low E is out, I'm sure no one noticed, and your playing is outstanding!

I think the amp controls were all around 2-3 oclock and the RC booster was Gain 12oclock, treble 1 oclock, bass 11 oclock, volume 3 oclock.

I think that's some great playing, once again. You don't overplay, IMO.
Solo is great, one of your best. Much more "on the edge" than usual, but that's what's cool about it.
Love the two guitar harmonies also, reminds me of the allmans.

That's really great. No overplaying, solo sounds a bit like some of brad paisley's fast chromomatic lines, to me anyway, especially the part around 2:08 and 2:09. I really enjoyed it, thanks for posting.
What does the z28 sound like without the rc booster, by the way?
Nick

Great job rc, I don't think it was overplayed at all...Wille would be proud! With the 28 cranked, add some RC, and using a Greenback...collectively adds up to some killer & aggressive tone. Liked it so much I had to go back and listen again ;D

Nick I dont remember Actually...to me its not quite as full sounding without the RC...sounds good...but we play pretty loud and I found myself needing to boost the signal pretty quick...which is cool because I can control everything from the guitar with the boost engaged...dime the guitars volume for overdrive or bring it way down for clean sounds.

Man, I can't say enuf about Jerry and his stuff, I called him over and over while adjusting my set. He offered over and over to rewind them if I was not happy, That is the type of service this great country was built on and seems lost in the big corporate world, This guy works all night for an Airline and winds pups all day, everyday. Sometimes he may have a delay in response, but a guy's gotta rest sometime. PleaZe let us know what ya think.

Great playing. I was able to save it to my hard drive - put your mouse pointer right on the black bar on the player, right click, then left click on properties - you can see the mp3 file location, cut and paste the entire url into a browser and save to your hard drive.

Either you're clicking on the wrong thing or your low E is still out of tune ..... just kidding, try right clicking on the black bar, not the speaker-thingee.

rcrecelius, OK, I see, it's a browser thing. I can do it using Firefox, but not with Internet Explorer. With IE, I'm experiencing exactly what you are - no luck.
