Yeh I saw it, I'll email him and see if he is willing to ship? $1300, is that too much to pay? Thanks guys for letting me know, you guys are fantastic! Good to have the "Z" bretheren on the lookout for me. Funny thing is,I have Dr Z search of ebay as my homepage, how is that for some serious G.A.S,so I keep up with what's on there all the time.
I just got back from a long Australia day weekend at Noosa(near Steve Irwins zoo), i've been plastered all weekend and my brain is just benning to start focussing now. I'll see how much I can scrounge up and what i have on my credit card, I can't believe how sick I am for these amps!

Well, you know you'll regret it if you don't, and that's not a bad price with the roadcase, which will make it a safer trip to Oz. Plus that's a good lookin' one too.

I just put together another strat at the end of last week from parts that I scored off Evil bay, so I am going to have to scrounge every dollar I can together. I'll post some pics of the strat, it's a very cool thing, lake placid blue, custom shop very mild relic body with a big 54' ri maple neck and custom shop 69' pickups. Sounds way different to my Fralin loaded Fiesta red 62'. I didn't really need a 2nd strat and could of really used the moola for the KT45 . Oops now I might be short. I'm a shocker for the G.A.S thing, every time I have a bit of dosh spare I will blow it. I got to get a bit of disipline about myself as everyone knows KT45's and Z28's don't exactly come up as often as Maz's on the Ebay.

There's a red one for the same price here in Nashville at Rock Block Guitars in case you miss out on that one.

You just want me to get over my head on my card and be forced to sell my Ghia to you.............might be some ulterior motives there I feel.

No, No...I guess I know I'm not going to be able to get any new amps for a while (probably 2 years) so I'm living the Z buying joy vicariously through Groover, knowing how much he wants a KT45. I would never wish someone to lose a Ghia so I could have one.

In fact I can't believe that there's been 3 of them on Evil bay in the last week. Usually you only see one pop up every month or two. There's always lots of maz 18 jr's, sr's and Rx's and the occasional ghia being auctioned at anytime but not too many KT45's. The big surprise is how many Route 66's have been on there lately. I have been watching them closely and seeing that they have been going for very reasonable and low prices, especially in relation to some of the other models. I think lots of those people who are selling them are going to regret it when they become hard to one day. I've thought about the 66' from time to time, lots of people on here saying it reminds them of a big bad ghia has only fueled the G.A.S. What interested me most about one was the fact that i heard you could dial in a clear bottom with a stinging, sizzling overdriven top end. That's not something you can do wit 90% of amps on the market. It's true I keep G.A.Sing for a KT45. It's a totaly different sound to the el84 strat blues dynamo the Ghia and my Maz (allrounder) but I haven't made up my mind yet whether a Z28 or Route 66' would fit the bill as far as my blue gigs are concerned. I must admit if I knew 18 months ago what I know know after playing the amps I have and being on this forum I probably would have bought a z28 or route 66' over my Maz. That's not to say the MAZ isn't a cool thing, it's awesome and very versatile but of the more blues based stuff I'm strictly playing these days the 28' or 66' would kill it.

Hey, my brother in law is going up to the Blues and Roots this year, maybe I can talk him into taking his Z-28 head and you could try it out?
