I'm finally starting to fool around with my Cakewalk/ Guitar Tracks Pro program my wife gave me for Christmas. So I figured out how to play along with a backing track... Woo hoo! So here's some noodling. Strat- Keeley Comp- Keeley TS-9- Boss DD3- Dr. Z MAZ 38. SM57 straight into sound card. www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=465770JC

hey, I've got those in my strat too! hm, mine don't sound that good though, they must be broken Thanks for the clip, your playing is solid! Question: how much of the dirt is the pedal vs. the amp? I mean, is the amp at anything like "gig level" or ? Thanks again!

I mean, is the amp at anything like "gig level" or ? Thanks again! Yeah, the amp was pretty much at "gig level," but with a Weber mini-MASS. I did that in my bedroom, as my 4 year old was in the next room watching TV! Attenuators are cool tools.... I always set my amps up clean with some hair, and use my two overdrives for different levels of "extra" saturation. So if you are looking for settings, they are kind of like this- Amp- Vol 1:00, Treb- 12:00, Mid- 1:00, Bass- 11:00, Master- 12:00, Cut- 9:00, verb 9:00 Weber mini-MASS set at 12:00 Keeley compressor- Both knobs at 11:00 TS9- Drive- 2:00, Tone- 10:00, Level- 11:00. The whole cut is bangin, but the Billy Gibbons pinch harmonics are very tasty Very nice stuff!
