Why? To see my knobs better- if I had a reverse faceplate it would work better. I like the way Matchless has the cutaway/recess at the top of the cabinet so you can see the full faceplate when standing above the amp. Other benefits: if you want to make tube swaps it is much easier to see the sockets, and maybe it runs a little cooler this way if the tubes are generating most of the heat and it is not run up into the chassis

You should turn the cab Z upside down too...Then we would have no reference for normalcy and we could flip our lids bro.
