Yes but, its so much smoother than trying to slide out a heavy chassis from a head. I just lay the cabinet on it's face remove the six screws from the top board and leave the top board attached to the chassis. Then I can turn it over and access the tubes. I know it sounds like a lot of trouble but, with a power screwdriver it really only takes a minute. At my older age I can see the tubes and tube sockets much better this way

Dave - would it be too much trouble to ask what the dimensions of that cabinet are? It is killer! No problem what so ever! If you can wait till I get home I can give you exact dimensions but, as a reference it is basicaly the same size as a "Z" convertable 1X12 cabinet!
