Well, figured I should give some feedback on what results I got from the new tubes.
First of all I was curious of what change the NOS Mullard CV4024 as the reverb driver (V3) would make on the reverb, so I replaced that tube first. The result from this is very, very nice. The reverb has an overall more pleasant sound. Much more "airy", with a smooth articulate topend. Just one great upgrade for the reverb. Best $22 upgrade ever. Guess I have to order a few of these as spares.
Next step was to replace the input driver (V1) tube with the NOS RFT 12AX7. This tube seems to be a bit darker sounding overall than the Tung-Sol i had in there, and it is really takes care of the harshness I felt the Maz had. I also really like the breakup of this tube. Very musical, and responds very well to playing dynamics. Seems to be perfect for that blusy drive sound. Another great upgrade that works very well for me.
Next up was the NOS Jan Phillips rectifier. This seems to be one of the forum favourites. It seems to add something to the sound, but to me this was not as apparent as the result of the V3 and V1 tubes (I was abit tired when replacing this, so I will try another swap...). For now I have to see this as more of a reliablility upgrade
...
