...I tried a few today witht the "T" and it just sounded so good. OCD was heavenly and so was the BB Preamp ( a bit nasal??)the Soul food was awesome but my fav believe it or not was the EHX east river and/or the EP booster by itself at different settings. The T eats up pedals very well

I found the BB a bit too much on the mids with the T - I am gigging the SL and the EP, which are both incredible with this amp. I use them to drive the amp harder, and add their own flavour, rather than a clean amp and use all the pedal OD. I like it this way MUCH better with the Therapy. The SL adds a lot of top end like a really good treble boost; whereas the EP thickens things up, and I use it as a solo boost.

After two weeks, I have not plugged ANY effects into my Therapy. Not needed as the smile has not left my face. The KTR is the only pedal I've tried. Love the way it just gives a slight boost in gain & volume.

The SL is one of the best sounding OD pedals ever! It drives an amp brilliantly, but is not an "amp in a box" like Wampler pedals - it interacts with the amp in a very musical way. I've been a huge fan of Xotic stuff for years now - tried LOTS of other stuff; spent a fortune; and end up back at the start with Xotic. I'm done with OD pedals now, seriously. My SL and EP are all I need with the Therapy..........

Pete:
What knob setting on your EP booster do you usually run on?

Pete: What knob setting on your EP booster do you usually run on? Loud enough to give it enough boost for my solos, basically. It varies on the venue and the exact amp settings, so I just turn it until I get what I want to hear, and then duct tape over the knob as I tend to kick it all the time when using the foot switch. That's my one criticism of these small form-factor Xotic pedals - those big, clear knobs are way too easy to kick with your toe! It's often between noon and 2o'clock for the rock band; when I'm playing clean, I have it around 10, which seems plenty. I think I have it on the Unity and Modern DIP switch settings too - the Vintage setting was too dark for me.
