It sure got quiet here quickly... I'm sure that will change when a few more of these amazing tone generators hit the streets!
After a week with this amp, I'm still tickled to death at the tone, feel and great variety this amp delivers at all volume levels.
I love the low end it's got. Not muddy or mushy, but a super low rumble that makes me smile every time....
Jus' sayin'

Man, I got some "me time" today with my Therapy, and decided to change it up a bit: MV - 11 B - 11 M - 1 T - 1 V - 1 Fingers only (no pick), Maxed the GV on my LPS P90s, and worked on my touch dynamics. Also worked the G Tones - WOW! This baby came over all purring and syrupy - yet when I dug in she bit! I can't quite get my head around how the Doc does this "clean to mean" with just the right hand - I guess you Z Wreck players know all about it, but this is special and new to me, and I LOVE IT! I even got some jazzy grooves going on today, I don't ever play jazz!

Add one ghia = complete Z stable Sent from my Galaxy S4 using Proboards Sorry.... my stable don't need a Ghia! My Maz can handle that. The maz is great but the ghia is where it all started! Everyone should own one just because, lol. J/k of course, I have a maz and love it too. The ghia does have somethin special though. And just so this doesn't come off as a thread hijack - I am in the process of getting a Therapy. Sent from my Galaxy S4 using Proboards

5 Weeks in and this is my favorite Z to date. As I've said before, I liked every Z amp I've ever had or tried. The Therapy just fits my needs and desires better than others. This one takes the prize. All this is in MY opinion. Smooth, sweet overdrive. Warm, round, clear cleans. Great bottom end thump. Sounds great at low volumes....without a need for attenuation. Sounds even better LOUD!!! Doc started off great, but seems too be getting better and better at his amp designs! Great work...AGAIN, DRZ.

I agree Mark, I've own a good portion of his designs and liked most of them and loved a few. The Therapy for me is just in a league of it's own. Best amp I have ever played through and that goes for any brand!

Next year will mark 50 years of playing for me. I've owned literally dozens of amps. A few stand out, but of those that stand out, all but a few are Z amps. Of the Z amps, a few stand out. This one stands alone. Very exciting sounds coming out of my old Gold this last few hours. I can't wait to get proficient with the amp - many things to discover (I haven't even tried the Les Paul yet). The interesting thing is what I'm hearing - I mentioned there are a few non-Z amps that stand out for me, but they all had issues that led me to dispose of them. My THD Flexi-50 could sound very similar to the Therapy, but there were all sorts of other issues that made that amp a struggle to use. And my Mesa Mark III sounded great, but again, it had several Achilles heels - not to mention I got a hernia lugging it around. The Therapy seems to combine all of the best tones from all of my past amps (with that characteristic Dr. Z tone), gives me much more tone control, works clean or saturated, does not kill my back, likes pedals - I haven't found an Achilles heel yet. I admit my time on the amp is still short, but I guess I know what I'm looking for right away. I've always said Dr. Z will be remembered for the Maz Jr NR - give this one a few years and I think my assessment will have to get a revision.

I hear what you're saying Benttop Steve! I'm at 50 years of playing myself and have had many dozens of amps through the years, and still retain quite a few "Holy Gail's" (Tweed Vibrolux/Deluxe/Bandmaster/Bassman/Twin, '65'ishVvox Ac30TB), but this Therapy does somehow encompass all that is good from all these amps, yet there a NO Achilles heel that I can find! There is nearly no tone knob setting that one can dial that doesn't sound great on this amp, so any newcomer can simply plug in and play with great tone no matter where the knobs are. I can't seem to get enough o' this amp!
Since I started buying Z amps, I play my old vintage favorites maybe 3% of the time. The rest is Z Wreck, Remedy, StangRay, and now Therapy. Seriously, who could ask for anything more.

Couldn't agree more Steve - Maz18, Route66 and most definitely the THERAPY! So glad I jumped early and got no. 2 ............... But after playing that prototype at John's I was completely hooked, and with good reason as you now see
