Sounds nice and fat with the Gibsons. Loud and clear as a bell with the Gretsch. Really getting tempted.

It does sound sweet. I'd love to hear more of the meaner side of this amp too. I guess I'll have to wait until mine shows up Keith

I hear "Wichita Lineman" in this demo. Someone needs to tell Johnny A about this amp NOW. He don't need no steenkin' Marshalls. Dave Baker is not human.

After watching this I'm a little disappointed. The video is not really showing the full out assault of what this amp is supposed to do! I like the rich highs coming out but I know the docs amps cover that. Where is the creamy ooze I been reading about?

Sounded pretty creamy to me with that 335.

Jus saying As far as I'm concerned no video on youtube can really capture the swirling, 3D sounds of Z amps, especially if you are listening on computer speakers. Not to say they don't serve the purpose for those that can't get to a dealer to hear them in person but they really don't do justice to the amps. The Therapy is one of my favorite Z amps and I have played a few.

Another great Z amp! Another great Dave Baker video! Smokin'!! This one shows the great cleans this amp has. And like others said, the 335 and the Les Paul are sweet & thick. But just listen to those warm Stat tones!! This amp will get a good bit nastier~ ....Great demo from Dave, but I still like his older demo's with no backing tracks. Not as fancy, but I can hear the amp better. But hey, that's just me.

Rarely do I disagree with my bud MarkT, but I thought the demo was splendid.... I like the novel idea of having a simultaneous backing track provided by Dave too. I thought that was pretty cool.... DIG the amp. WANT the amp.....Dam u Dave Baker!!!! (JK, LOVE you man!!!)

Go for the one you are happy with.Rock on brother Dannyny Jus saying

Dave Baker's demos are great, in my view, at showing the range of tones that can be obtained from an amp. That's one category of demo, and a very important one. No doubt the good Doc feels it important to have a high quality demo out in the market. I applaud the effort and $ expended. Another category is a demo that explores the amps controls. For example, a segment that sweeps a knob over its entire range. Another: a controlled a/b listening to two amps. These can be really useful too. (I've made a few feeble attempts at such

Let's get one thing straight, I am a HUGE Dave Baker fan - the man is a monster player. Secondly, I quite like the backing tracks - it sort of puts the amp in context for me. I listened a couple of times through a good sound system, and I could hear the amp in all its glory just fine.
Only a small observation, but Dave keeps it pretty clean for most of the video, and even when it's not clean, it's pretty polite! I seem to get a lot more nazz and bite from mine (more tiger than kitten for sure), so I feel that is "missing" from this demo, but he does absolutely NAIL the heart of the Therapy! That Tele sounds great!
So, adding this demo to MarkT's video, gives a broader flavour IMHO - this amp can really ROCK, make no bones about it, and at VERY useable volumes!

Dave Baker's demos are outstanding. I've decided to try to pick out one or two things from every demo to use as a playing lesson......but hell, I can't even dream of getting remotely close to playing that well!
