Lot's of talk about the Mazerati GT being a high gain machine...true...but backing off the Guitar volume gives good cleans.... Yeah it was loud in my cave.... This progression is a tune I call Let-r-Rip. I put it together as a Jam that my friends and I could use to play during Z-Fest in 2010 when I finally got up to play... Needless to say there was no practice involved beforehand. We did this song and John Hyatt's "Perfectly Good Guitar". Panic set in as not only was I playing..but the singer bailed at the last minute...I had to sing... yikes..made through though..and had fun and encouragement from the gang there at Brothers that day! Phil called us "The Three Guys" in his YouTube posts.... I did this in late '12 or early '13 to record the amp and try the iPhone recording app out. Not perfect..clams here and there..but I think is shows what the beast can do. Someday I will learn to record and edit better!! Fender Strat with low gain APC pick-ups and baseball bat '52 Crook neck rhythm 1: Bridge: Boss Trem, light Aqua puss delay rhythm 2: Bridge-Middle: light Aqua puss delay Lead: Neck: light Aqua puss delay Mazerati GT V: slightly under noon Stock Z-Best Cabinet Garage Band Iphone App.. Blue plug-in snow ball mic GB drum loop Let-r-Rip

Cool! And no, I would never have thought of "cleans" with the Mazerati GT--although it reminds me now that I also do the same thing with my Monza. Medium-gain settings on the amp (not totally distorted), roll the Strat's volume down just a little, and man it sounds sweet.

That sounds amazing. I hear a lot of Z Wreck in there.

nice tones there for sure. Sounds like the tone every blues player is looking for .... they just need a GT I guess.
