Hey guys, I want to start recording but i notice that whenever my guitar is near my computer my tube amp makes a hissing/ buzzing noise. If i were to record from my amp, would I pick up the buzzing noise? Has this ever happened to you guys? Thanks for reading!

I like to sit on the sofa and play guitar while watching TV. I get a fair amount of noise from my plasma screen. I can cut out a lot of it with one of these. www.ehx.com/products/hum-debuggerIt's not a magic box, it won't get rid of everything. It does nothing to get rid of ground loop hums. It works best when there's a buffer in front of it. But it's served me well. I keep it with me when I gig because it can be a lifesaver if the bar we're at has neon lights or some other funkiness.
