Not that it matters much but I'm curious as to what brand tubes will be stock in Therapy. Anyone know?

I thought I saw JJ 6L6's in one of the pics, but I could be wrong.......now what chores can I do around the house to put my wife in a good mood before I ask one more time if I can get a Therepy ! Haha. Also, I'm surprised no one mentioned the fact that the description said it was ( a little) Dumble like ! This also peeked my curiosity. Ahhhhhh. The Therepy, my new dream amp. ( fingers crossed )

I still need to hear it though... Sent from my Galaxy S4 using Proboards

Interesting about a Dumble like reference - I have ZERO experience of Dumbles, except for a few players on YouTube etc., and I would not put the Therapy within a country mile of anything I've ever heard Larry Carlton play. The amp is much more edgy that that, in my very limited time. Then again, I was looking for edgy, so maybe with a few knob tweaks you could get LC ish tones out of it. Maybe more Robben Ford than Larry Carlton? It had some seriously good cleans.............
The OD tone seemed a lot less gritty or fizzy than the Remedy, and was very harmonically rich, which I loved. It has more gain than a Remedy, but saturated less, and less quickly, if that makes sense?

Man, it's getting harder and harder not to order one of these beasts!

Thanks for the post Pete. I noted some of the earlier posts and I thought I may have over stated the OD sound of the Therapy. No it doesn't have half the gain that a Dumble can produce, shoot it only has two pre amp tubes. But it does produce a very smooth OD tone that is reminiscent of the smooth 6L6 OD of the Dumble. Remember 6L6 tubes can be Toothy with a lot of Bite in there driven tones, the cathode biased Therapy doesn't , hence my Dumblish reference. With the right OD pedal in front you'll get all the smooth gain tones you'll ever need. The simple front-end design is built for pedals to sound there best.
I posted this so no one will get the wrong sonic impression. I agree with Pete's assessment.
Incredible rich thick clean tones, sounds like a big fat Martin. Great Crunch tone ala Rolling Stones. Super Master Volume which retains the quality of the tone at whisper levels, allowing the amp to be used in a multitude of applications. The Master rivals many Attenuators for low level transparent tones. Highest quality internal components, quality that you can hear and feel.
That my friends is the new DR.Z Therapy.
Do you have your appointment for your Tone Therapy......... :^ )
