I thought I would miss a 12" speaker for the fullness. The 10" Red Fang is pretty impressive in the Ghia. Like I said, I'm not "complaining" per se, just not my ideal speaker by any means. I might get to try the Ghia out in a live situation soon. I'm currently gigging the HD500 since I play at a church that desires minimal stage noise.

I'm looking forward to picking up my second Ghia when I come over to the USA in a couple of weeks from now. After having to sell my first a few years ago for financial reasons, it's been way to long to go without this little gem. Hopefully I can get a little 1x10 as well. When I need to, I will run it into my separate 2x12 Vox cab with alnico blues. I love the fact that the new 1x10 model has a 16 ohm tap.

I had a major issue with my SUV come to light and something's gotta give because I refuse to finance a car repair...sucks, but such is life!

The thing is, your speaker is the place where you can make the largest changes in overall tone. Changing tubes, adjusting eq, different cables, stomp boxes, etc. all have an effect, but the speaker has a much larger effect than all of those combined. Agreed for sure! Just in no rush as I don't think the Ghia sounds bad at all, just some minor things I don't care for in the Fang. But, rather than spend money on a speaker right now, I'm considering picking up a 1x12 cab to run with it I dig the 12" as well.
