Hey guys, i have a pretty silly question. I know both of these amps are in completely different categories but I was wondering how the cleans of the maz 8 compare to a voxac15c1? Theres no place I can try a maz 8 around where I live and I really do enjoy the cleans on the ac15c1.

Thanks Rickenbacker and the slaught. This video does demonstrate the cleans and the maz 8 through a few different guitars as well

Thanks Rickenbacker and the slaught. This video does demonstrate the cleans and the maz 8 through a few different guitars as well I really like mine, but I still like the M-12 better- Depends on the guitar to some degree. IMO a country tone is easier to get from the Maz 8. I have read others that say M-12 isn't voxey enough-Yet I can play All My Loving ( John's Part) With the M/12 and a Blue or Gold and it's dead on the Money. I seriously think I would keep the M-12 over the Maz 8 if I had to pick between them. Just wish my M-12 was Red to match the rest of my stuff./ It's Blackout - Anyone wanta trade???

I may have to look into the m-12 then if you think this way. Thanks for sharing

Frank- My Maz 8 and M-12 are both Heads-The M-12 I bought 2nd hand so had to settle for the Black out- My Maz8 is Red to match most of my cabs. I'm currently using both amps into Blue and Gold in separate cabs. I have left the Gold cab closed because I also have a Remedy. Which likes the Gold as well. I just didn't like the Remedy as well thru the Gold opened. I don't want to go over board talking about the M-12 in the Maz8 section. Lets put it this way. The first speakers I tried the M-12 thru first were my z 2/10's. It was plugging the M-12 into the Gold that sold me on the amp. In all fairness I have only had the Maz 8 a week. I'm glad I can afford both. Frank you and I both appreciate Beatles Tunes. I think you'd like an M-12. But don't get rid of that 8. It's a fun little amp, I'm just starting to learn somewhat. I definitely like the Maz8 for country tunes. Especially those with bends. The M-12 IMO sounds great with Day Tripper(Cranked) All my Loving(lower vol) Jonhney B-Goode-Secret agent man-M-12 cranked) I'll comment more after a few more weeks with both amps. No pedals used:

I've played my Rick 370 and 360/12 thru it quite a bit and they sound fantastic , especially with a touch of compression on the 12 string ( "You Can't Do That" , etc. ) Anyway now you have me thinking I need to add an M-12. Thanks!
