Hi all. Can anyone help me with this enquiry.
I have a 110 M12 combo and have purchased a 210 dr z cab. The M12 speaker is a standard Dr Z 110 running at 16ohms while the 210 cab runs at 8ohms with 2 standard Dr Z 110 speakers. I also have a pro cables y cable for hooking up combos to a cab. Is it safe to do so through the 8 or 4ohms taps on the back of the amp or would I really need a 210 amp or similar running 2 x 16ohm speakers.
Thanks for any feedback. Just don't want to damage my amp!

Perhaps you should post this in the "Ask the Experts " section. Welcome aboard.

You can run an 8 ohm load and a 16 ohm load in parallel. The total ohmage (is that a word) will be 5.33. Run it out of the 4ohm tap and you will be fine.
