I like this amp! Here is my problem, maybe. I love C standard tuning, but not really into heavy metal. With the low watts and some nice OD pedals I thought maybe this could work.

The M12 was initially designed to be a pedal platform amp. Sounds like it might be what you are looking for! Welcome to the Forum - lot of great people and information here.

Thanks Mike! So do you think the amp will be able to handle C standard tuning?

Hey mrt, welcome to the forum! I would foremost suggest a speaker that's better-equipped to handle the low-end, such as the Celestion G12H-55hz (or one of the many clones, from WGS, Scumback, etc.), for some bigger low-end.
Also, the M12 is rather "neutral" and flat-response--great for pedals and such. However you might want to consider something with a little more wattage, as I've found that the lower-wattage amps give up a little low end. (Just a thought, really.. not a recommendation to avoid the M12, per se.)

Thanks Mark. I figured as much with 12 watts. My plan was to run the M12 through a WhiteBox 2x12 with a Swamp Thang and a Texas Heat. I don't gig I just play at home for the wife. My room is about 500 sq ft. Maybe I should check out the Remedy.

^Oh wow, that would sound sweet on the low-end with a Swamp Thang. In fact, a Swamp Thang + Tonker 2x12 together would be crazy good.
