Okay, so I just saw this eBay ad. "Re-soldered every single connection"... What?!? Dude, what the..? That amp can't be more than, what—a couple years old? What the F are people doing out there?

That's just weird.
Personally, I'd stay away...

Personally, I'd stay away... Definitely. It's such a gamble spending that much $$ for auction/non-returnable used stuff on eBay, anyway. Buyer beware. This particular seller doesn't present himself as being terribly knowledgeable... I wonder if the amp-repair shop just took 'em for a ride with a bunch of costly, unnecessary "repairs."

Sounds like Dallas Vintage Guitars ripped this guy off. Charging for re-soldering a Z amp that's less than 2 years old?

I'd be afraid to buy if someone replaced the knobs! No thanks!

I just asked him HERE"S HIS RESPONSE: "Nothing has happened to the amp since I've had it. It lives in a Brady case. The ecc83 tube went out and when I took it to my amp tech he checked all the connections and re soldered them. Sometimes the factory solder jobs come loose so they do it as a precaution. It cost around $100. I'll try to find the receipt. Thanks"
So he basically said doc's work falls apart fast: Plus he won't budge on the price at all: I'm just guessing but I think he's not sure what the tech guy did to it. If there even was a tech:

Stuff like this is what makes me afraid to buy an amp from ebay, not that I would know about it if i bought it from him in person. The price alone is ridiculous though.

If there even was a tech: Yup, pretty sure this guy just isn't savvy about the tech stuff. (Which is okay, fellas.) But his ad says they replaced "the power tube" ( the power tube... as in one?) but then he says ECC83 in his message to you. I'm wondering if his "amp tech"—whom he's supposed to trust—just took him for a ride.

Sounds like the owner doesn't have any knowledge of tube amps and the tech figured that out. Not a knock on the guy...he probably played it, thought it sounded awesome, bought it and he knows there are people out there that work on amps, so he never got into the technical side of it.
Doubtful any harm came to the amp, and maybe a lot of people do stuff like that with any amp they buy. But at that price, why not buy new?
