What overdrives do you guys think work well with the Delta 88? Right now, I'm using an rc booster by xotic effects, this works amazing, very transparent , does not change the tone but just makes it bigger.. I also have a divided by 13 joyride that I kick in for leads.. i find it colors the tone too much, but still a really nice overdrive for solos and sustain... I just ordered a Klon Centaur.. apparently this is supposed to be a very transparent overdrive and it seems like it's one of the best out there, I guess I'll soon find out.... what do you guys think?

Awesome!
Does your centaur do a good job of retaining the delta's original tone? what other pedals did you find worked well with the delta?>
Have you ever used the airbrake with it?

yes it do sounds pretty close to the original tone, far as other pedals i use a delay,an wah wah,and my clon.and two drz airbrakes with my delta88.i mostly set the brake two clicks above bedroom, and run the amps on about 9 o'clock or depends on the venue.i also use a mas 38 in the mixs with these monsters.you really don't need any pedals just amps.

I hooked up my Fulldrive 2, using the comp cut mode, level at 12-12:30, tone 12-12:30, and the Delta at-
B-3 T- 3 V- 9-10
This is a very manly sounding setting. Great crunch, chewy leads, cleans up with volume knob.
For a little more hair, I'd kick in the boost mode on the FD2, set at around 9:30-10.

With that amp, ..... gotta go with an old Grey Dod 250, or easier to find and very close, a vintage yellow one. Analog man mod'ed re-issue does the trick as well. I hate to comment on such subjective terms but, i will, .... with my gear these are the most open and transparent OD's of ANY ive ever tried, (lots!). The only caveat i'll put out there is that they are not for every amp/guitar, but ya know, ... what pedal does? I've gotten to the point where i hate swiss army knife anythings, .... gimme the one trick pony's .... that do what they do better than anything else. These Old Dod's are Mucho strong in output and sound like your amp. If you want a pedal that cuts on stage, and doesnt get all squishy this is it. Soft touch players maybe not the right pedal, and oh yeah, stay away from the re-issue, in stock form they're pretty un-inspiring. Just my humble 2 cents worth,
