Any one using this unit? it looks pretty cool. One less AC cord on the stage. Can also be used with the charger in case you forgot to charge it. Can also be charged in your vehicle by car charger or USB. Fits all Pedaltrain units.

I was looking at this too , Bill. Sanyo has one called the Pedal Juice , I think Roscoe was using one on his board a while back. I like the idea of just being able to lay the pedal board down and not running another AC cord.

I have been using the Pedal Juice for about a year now. Works awesome. Perfect for those small gigs where there is no power up front. I always seemed to find all the outlets full up front so this is great. I can get way over 6 hours or of it with my pedals all on. I did that test one day just to see. I had a power hungry Strymon El Cap so I am sure you could get way more time out of other pedals.
The Volto is cool in that it fits under the Pedaltrain board thus saving space up top for your pedals. I would get the Volto if I were buying new today.

I wonder if they'd sell just the Volto and charger? I already have a lot of power interconnects for boards.

I use a pedal juice. great pedal and lasts a long time. Ive read somewhere that the volto is noisy and has a buzz to it. I was going to buy one but didn't after reading that it had noise issues

Well I got the Volto installed on a Pedaltrain Mini. Came out real nice. The big test will be at rehearsal tomorrow. We'll see how it goes.

Used the pedalboard on Sunday and all is good! Power to spare after a 5 hour rehearsal and no noise.

I've got one. It doesn't hold a charge as long as the Sanyo Juice Box but it holds it plenty long enough. You can also charge it while using it and it uses a regular USB cable to charge.
I will say the documentation is bad. For something this simple you should be able to get it going without looking at the manual. You'd never find the power switch without the manual. It's totally hidden under some graphics.
It ships with a UK power plug on the end of the charger. It took me quite some time to remove it. The manual was unclear and the instructions on the website were unclear.
It will work with your exiting power cables (to and from pedals). It is great that it fits neatly under the Nano. I'm gonna bring the Juice Box w me as backup for a few gigs.

I usually charge it for 12 hours. Big test on Saturday night gig. If it doesn't snow.

The Volto performed flawlessly last night. Turned it off between 1st and 2nd set. I forgot to turn it off after the second set, (rut roh), and it stayed on for the last two sets. I made sure it had a full charge. I'm liking this unit.

I'm liking it too. I used it for 1 two set gig and 2 more one set gigs on a single charge this weekend. Power indicator is at 2/3's full.
I'm glad I could use my existing wiring setup that was a 5 spot daisy chain from 1 Spot.

I ordered one today along with a PTNano for $129 from someone doing a package deal w free shipping on fleabay. I'm eager to get it here and set up the tiny board. I like the idea of having one smaller than Mini PT running on cordless power.

I decided to pick one up. It arrived in time to use at last night's gig. It performed perfectly. It was nice to have one less AC power connection, and I loved the associated freedom to be able to place the board where I wanted rather than within the limit of the AC cord. One drawback: I have an older PT Mini and the Volto does not fit between the rails. I just stuck it along the back edge using one of the supplied hook-and-eye strips. I do have to dismount it when finished, but on the plus side, it's easy to get at the power switch and I have more colored lights to look at on my board. (I am easily amused )

Boycott PedalTrain. The Volto they sold me died the first time I tried to use it. Check out other social media. This happens a lot. PedalTrain products suck.

I forgot to mention, it only can power analog pedals. If you have a digital pedal like a TC Electronic Corona Chorus, you get to buy a separate battery for that one. This is very poor product design.

I love my PedalTrain boards. Not only is this thread over 2 years old, and the last post was over a year ago, AND the Volto has been discontinued, you might try a little softer approach...maybe to your dealer. You may even be breaking forum rules by your post..... Other than that....Welcome to the forum!

This is how you're going to start out with your first post. This is not how things are done here. I suggest you take a few minutes and read the COC. Tread lightly, you're not off to a good start.

Just as another experience.... My dad plays music professionally around the world, but primarily USA and Europe, and he and the other guitar player have been using their first run Volto's flawlessly for three years. Never any trouble with them....No trouble with digital pedals like Mr. Black Deluxe Plus or others. I have also heard of troubles god others but they use them 200 nights a year with no issues. Welcome to ZTalk....lots of good folks here.

My Volto has served me well the past year and a half. If affords a quick setup at church, and with my nano I can even take it to the occasional open mic and not worry about finding power.
