My name is rudy and I brought this amp (used), because I needed a back up amp. I quickly decided to make it my main gigging amp, because of the tone. It's an awsome amp, but at the first gig I took it to, it started making a buzzing or humming sound that was very noticeable between songs. Is there a recommended tech or place that could check it out. Any help would be appreciated. I'm new here and also wanted to say hi to everyone. I live in Orange County, and work in L.A. rm

If you work in LA, then take it to Myles at Groove Tube.
He'll make that Delta 88 sound better then new.

When an amp has a buzz check for bees.....a hiss , possible snake or if it hums it forgot the words ( sorry coudn't help it , cabin fever is setting in ). ;D
Seriously....are/were you getting interference from anything electrical ? Was it buzzing where you had the gig or anywhere else ? Is it OK at home ??

Second that... check and make sure you weren't picking up electrical noise from neon lights or something. If it only buzzed at the gig, I would suspect something besides the amp.

Thanks for the responses, First noticed the buzzing sound at a gig, then at home. Tried using a power conditioner with the same results. I'll order new tubes and hopefully it will take care of the problem. thanks again. rm
