After almost 40 years my Koss Pro4a's have finally bitten the dust so I'm looking for a replacement. I'll certainly try these Sennheisers because I'm a big fan of their mics. We have a set of Audio-Technica phones in the sound booth at the church that I'm really fond of too. I can't recall the model number.

After almost 40 years my Koss Pro4a's have finally bit the dust so I'm looking for a replacement. I'll certainly try these Sennheisers because I'm a big fan of their mics. We have a set of Audio-Technica phones in the sound booth at the church that I'm really fond of too. I can't recall the model number. That's weird. My beloved AKG K271 MKII's crapped out on me recently too. I wasn't too upset because I bought them for under a hundred bones a while back. It was a cyber deal on Amazon. I went to use them a few weeks back and, nothing. Too many moving parts. They shouldn't just stop working. It's not like I beat 'em up. I did some research and landed on these. I'm more than happy with my choice. Very comfortable and nice to mix on. Listening to music is fun. No need for a headphone amp but would do well with one. My Galaxy tab powers them well. My Focusrite 18i8 powers them perfectly. They are a great set of cans you'll not be disappointing.
