First coat of shellac sand seal and the grain is really starting to pop....

Done............although I might use a Koa Z on the Green valance. Next will be a Nuclear Burst........I feel like I'm back in grade school finger paintin'...

Looks great Harv! Love the 2 tone Z to set the green one off. And the blue one, that might be the prettiest piece of maple I've ever seen.
Can't wait to see the burst. Will you use a sprayer to do that?

I'm going to do a poor man's burst and push the dye around with a rag, if that doesn't work then I might break out the ole air brush..

Man o man. They are both nice. But that blue one is something else. Perfect grain for that type of finish too. It looks so deep and 3D. Nice stuff, thanks for sharing.

Love that burled one. If it were for me, I'd order a dark walnut or cocobolo Z on that one instead of the light maple.
