I'm gonna guess the low $2k zone.
~$1300 for the head and ~$750 for the 2x12 Blues (assuming its a Z cab).
Have you checked completed listing on fleaBay?

I recently sold a Stingray rig for $2200 shipped. I'd say you'll be in that ballpark. The stingrays usually command a little more money just for the rarity.

Jcat5503 had his head up for sale here for 1100 until I worked out a deal for my rx es. I know Imwouldnt let mine go for less then 1500 and I have 3 people lined up for it at that price but Dr Z's are pretty rare here in canada. No one usually has them in stock and if they do it's usually a maz18.

But hey, at least I have local access for ordering them The Stangray head is on my wish list too. Keith

Keith My local guitar shop reached out a few times and was super interested in selling Dr Z amps and was told that long and McQuade had the rights so to speak to sell them. In the 100's of times I've visited their store, I've only ever seen a maz38 and 18 and asked out the z wreck and they laughed and said that they would be surprised if they can even get one. The only other shop that I know that sells them is lauzon music in Ottawa. better chances of getting one through the online classifieds then in store.

Not to be crass, but I'm currently selling my mint 2008 20th Anniversary Stang Ray head and a 2-12" cabinet loaded with two Celestion Golds for $1,600. See a full description and photos at my Richmond, VA Craigslist ad here: richmond.craigslist.org/msg/4118512423.html. I don't think you can find a better price or or an amp in better condition. I can work with folks from Raleigh to Baltimore, but not sure I want to risk shipping this unless we go "whole hog" on the packing and insurance. Dave Richmond, VA daveschief"at"earthlink.net

Even though they don't stock locally, the guys at my shop are superb to deal with. All my Z's are ordered pretty quickly and if I have a question on lead time/availability, I usually get a pretty quick response. If the sales guy at your L&M said that they weren't sure they could even get a Z-Wreck they don't know what they are talking about! I ordered my Z-Wreck and was told I would have it within 8 weeks or so and it showed up within that time frame. If the guys locally don't know the answer they call Steve at head office (who handles Nation-wide ordering) and get the answers to my questions. I ordered my Carmen Ghia LE via cell phone in the car on the day of first availability. The local guy at the shop called Dr Z to see if I could get one and I had an answer within half an hour and the amp was ordered. A few days later, I had a call from Steve at L&M head office wanting to confirm grill cloth order before they placed my order with the Z shop (the local sales guy was on holidays so Steve called me instead of waiting to circle back with the local sales rep). So, even though I'll never see much stock locally, my experience with getting the Z's is pretty good through my L&M...but that's a reflection of the people I'm dealing with...who are great! Keith

I'm gonna list my ray on the BST forum if anyone is interested. It is in mint condition. Black with blonde valence. It is a head with 2x12 matching cab loaded with celestion blues. Hate to get rid of it but I recently purchased a wreck and I have a Rx jr

Maybe I'll start ordering my Dr Z amps via NL. Ontario doesn't get that kind of service which is why I hate buying from them. I once asked if they had any dr z amps on order and the guy looked at me like I grew a third head. Meanwhile when i lived in Alberta, the L&M was fantastic.
