Hello All,
Glad to see there is an active forum on the Rx Jr. as I am just taking my home today. I bought a head. My local players store has had a Rx Jr. sitting for a while now, a long while, and I decided it needed a good home. so off went my twin and in comes the Rx Jr. I am pretty much a bedroom player and after 5 years have found my guitars of choice are telecasters. It's all I play now, love them. If you knew me that would be surprising but at least that part of my journey is over.
Anyway, I am playing through an old crappy cab at the moment until i can buy the owners egnater 2x12 in January when he will get his new rig. I may even look at a 1x12 but have been so used to the fullness of a 2x12 with the twin I don't know. I know they are 2 different animals and am looking forward to exploring new tones, anything from blues to some grit (think ZZ top) is the hardest i go.
I have been reading all the information here and will have lots of questions so thanks in advice.
BTW...saw the serial number thread. mine is 136th made in 2011. Been sitting waiting for its chance for quite a while.

Congrats on a great amp and welcome to the forum! I have played mine with a 2x12 and 1x12. I currently use the 1x12 combo for ease of transport and it still sounds great. Lots of good tones in the RX Jr.

Thanks Brian , Btw...how do you like the swirl? Amp has been great so far, takes pedals well, taking it to my lesson tomorrow so we can enjoy. And boy, a percussive burger, my mistakes are coming through. Yikes!,, in the end that should make me a better player though...that's the goal anyway.
