I've been running my v2 through a 2x12 cabinet, but I was wondering if anybody had used a 2x10 cab with theirs and, if so, what kind(s) of 10" speakers were in the cab.
Thanks; I'm just trying to get things smaller and lighten the load a little.

I don't have my V2 Mazerati any more, but I ran it a lot through a Z Convertible loaded w/ 2 10" Weber Silver AlNiCos. They were the 30 watt variety w/ light dope. I thought it sounded fantastic. Quite a few of my Z heads like that cab. I also used the Doc's 10"s, but I preferred the Mazerati w/ the Weber AlNiCos.

My Mazerati is a 2x10 combo. (there are very few of these, or so I've been told) and it's got the Doc's Z speakers in it and I LOVE it. I use a 1x12 Celestion gold sometimes instead, but I actually prefer the doc's 10's in general.
for the record, I've never used the Celestion Gold 10's. but i'd like to someday.

GuitarZ: Ugh! Dropped small nut while installing new outside lamp. Thought I saw where it landed. Couldn't find it. Moved the car & such. Engineering mind said, drop another (after ~hour). Bang! Within 5 seconds. Nut found! Yea! Wife Impressed!

GuitarZ: Bells & Whistles-New Cars. A year with our Subaru Outback, finally realized doors have to be unlocked for inside rear hatch button to work. Dang! I need that feature for social distancing. Looked like an idiot pulling up & jumping out to manually open.

GuitarZ: Best Pandemic Comment - Delivery guy shows up. As we're social distancing, I look at myself in brown loafers, black socks, gym shorts, t-shirt and say "I realize this is not my best look". His response "You can wear whatever you want to the apocalypse."
