So, I finally pulled the trigger on a new Remedy this afternoon from Humbucker Music. I've playing a Maz 38 and, as much as I love that amp, I just couldn't get the distortion I wanted (even with pedals). I'm hopefully the Remedy will get me there even if I set it up clean and use pedals.
Any advice out there for a first time Remedy owner?

Play it! If you are getting the newest version I am sure you will love it. I use pedals also, but the eq bypass is great. Stack a pedal or two and you should get whatever you are looking for except for possibly the really spitty metal type distortion.

Congratulations!! 1. Play it clean - H&N V below noon, MV to taste 2. Play it dirty - H&N V around 2 o'clock 3. Play it on the 40W setting always 4. Play it any darn way you like!! 5. Use the EQ Bypass - VERY useful 6. Work your Guitar Volume - amp is VERY responsive to the GV 7. Play the SNOT out of it at every opportunity - best damned amp I have ever played, including the 4 previous Z amps I've owned! oh, and you can stick a few pedals through it too - soaks them up! ENJOY!

The Rem was my first Z and it's a great amp. Use the EQ bypass as a substitute for an OD pedal. Otherwise, play it like ya stole it!
