Does anyone run theirs through a single 50 watter? I've got a 12" Tone Tub Alnico and 10" Red Fang, both in Doc's 1X10 cabs and was wondering if I could run the KT safely into either of them. I do run this amp hot sometimes (3 o'clock V) and I've read this can amp push 60-70 watts cranked.
Thanks in advance for any helpful comments.

I run through an undoped Weber Blue Dog at 50 watts (8ohm if it matters) I do have the Tube Rectifier which may bring the wattage down a bit. The amp is rated at 45 watts so by that you should be good unless possibly running the amp full tilt all the time. If you need that kind of volume, you might already be in the realm of needing 2+ speakers anyway. I think I remember that Miles from www.guitaramplifierblueprinting.com thought the amp might reach 60 watts peak with the SS rectifier, but I cannot find that article now. From what I remember the tube rectifier brings it at 45 watts.

Thanks edoetsch! Mine is tube rectified as well and I read the Myles thread (but can't find it) where he said it could go as high as 70 watts cranked.
I'll try it out...and I'll try to go easy on the V.

KT-45 > 12" Celestion Gold sounds amazing as well!

All three of those speakers would sound great with a KT. I was using a 50w Weber Blue Dog for a while. I still have the Tone Tubby. Both worked great, and the C Gold is a no-brainer. I'd like to line the three up and A/B/C them with identical cabs.
