I talked my fellow Del-Lords guitar player Scott Kempner into trading his MAZ 38 (which was just way too loud for his use) for a NOS RX Jr. The Del-Lords are headed to California friday for 3 gigs. I'm looking fwd to checking out the amp. When I went to Z Fest a few years back I got to play an RX Jr in the shop for a few minutes. Really loved it.

Still my favorite Z amp. Although I've been playing the Z28 and M12 here lately, the RX Jr is my go-to amp. As I'm sure you are aware, as with most Z's, dial it in with your ears and don't pay much attention to knob position. The controls are also interactive with each other, so don't be scared of what some might consider extreme eq settings. Great amp! Tell your buddy to get to know it well and enjoy!
Will be expecting a full report...

My favorite feature is the rear mounted master volume.

Nicely done Eric. Looking forward to hearing about the Jr's maiden voyage...

I assume it will be front and center next week in NYC. Have not heard one ever, so it will be a treat.

Nope. This amp lives in CA. I'll have the Ghia - RF in NYC.
