As I troll Ztalk I note there is not much action on the Antidote page. I'd like to think it is because we owners of one of the best amps in the known universe are too busy playing. A note to all posters on the page... The EQ bypass is to good. I love the sound with the tone stack engaged, but my oh my the bypass is sweet. The sound of rock and any other modern, amplified guitar music is available with the twiddle of the volume and tone knobs. Too cool. Play on brothers, play on. I'm gonna join you now!

It's like having a 3 channel amp!

Still really digging mine!!!! KILLER!!!! I've played a few amps since I started back in '74 (I think, close enough for government work) and this is the best I've played. Some can do one thing well, others, through the magic of channel switching, can do two or three things passibly, but the Antidote can conjure up sounds I wasn't even looking for. I knew it was going to be good when I tried it at the store. Just out of the box, plugged into a 2X12 (greenbacks), all the tone controls at 0 (you know, zero, off... ) Vintage mode with High volume at 3ish (barely on) and wonderful sounds were heard. The possibilities from there seem endless!

Mannnnnnnnnn... no more cocaine for me... I meant to say "we are all still recovering"... No more Rogaine for for for mme. Oh! it's for my hair? This will be a real busy thread by Thanks Giving, my guess. It takes a while for the good news to spread. Bad news however travels 9 or 10 times faster. The best amp for Rock n Blues EVER!

Okay, I just took the Dote out for a spin and tried a few different pedal combos and WOW!! The amp by itself is extremely versatile but throw in a couple of different OD's to change the flavour and OMG!! I am using my Jetter Red2 and JetDrive pedals and could not be happier...

Jam/practice last night. All good! More potential here than I can tap. Great turned up. Great with boost pedals. Works well with modulation. Tone bypass is good for lead boost, but also a great foundation for rock and blues. Tame the volume with a Brake Lite and your possibilities are unlimited. (The Brake Lite is the best attenuator before you consider it's price, once the price factor is added in, everyone who gigs should own one). I had a great time with tones you dream of!

Thought I had the blues, but I got the Antidote. Gonna be rocking' the blues on Friday. Ground zero for The Pigeonheads, The Loyalist Inn, Shelburne, NS. Shamless plug! Be using the 'dote with a couple of Orange PPC12 cabs (Vintage 30's). Brake Lite will be required, but I love the spread I can get by playing with the placement to the two cabinets.

How does it handle delays and reverbs when cranked? Do you feel like it could use an effects loop for that or is the front end clean enough that it can handle that no problem?

Do you feel like it could use an effects loop for that or is the front end clean enough that it can handle that no problem? As with most amps and gain with a reverb pedal it is touchy. I find they work ok if you are looking for one sound and stick with that. If set for a good sounding deep verb clean amp it is too much when the gain is cranked. A light verb with distortion gets lost when turning back the GV to clean up. I have to admit that I never found an amp reverb to be set and forget any way. The Antidote is thick sounding (the way I set it up) which makes a verb dark. Other modulation - flange, chorus, envelope filter, rotary speaker sim, and wah all sound good.
