Wouldn't it be great to have the option of a 1/2 power swith on the Maz 38 much like the Remedy? This way you may be able to have a hybrid of the 38 and 18. I know there are some subtle differences in the front ends but this mod would further the 38's versatility. I have both a Maz 38 reverb and a Maz 18 NR and the 38 sounds better to me but that is my opinion. Anyhow, I am sure this has been covered before but I thought I would prime the Maz 38 Forum Pump with a thought provoking topic...

What about a triple switch on the back... Maz 38/18/8 all in one, with reverb, effects loop, and EQ bypass. Now that would be an amp!

If my MAZ 38 had had a 1/2 power switch, I'd most likely have kept it. To get that amp up to it's sweet spot, it was just a little much for clubs. Sounds like a good idea, but then, I've yet to use the 18 anywhere that it wasn't "enough".

Only time my 18 wasn't enough...was at an outdoor show with no back wall. We put a mic on it and all was well out front...but I didn't have the umph on stage I was used to.

I got the air brake and am very happy, but I love this idea for sure!
