I Think the SRZ should be dubbed aka " SIMPLY RAVISHING Z"!!!!! EVERYTIME I THINK I CANT FIND ANOTHER PEDAL TO PUSH THIS AMP OR GET another tone from this amp, Im Dead Wrong and Dead FLOORED!!!!! I purchased a BK BUTLER Real Tube OD a while back and I just really haven't spent a lot of time with it, but I was changing some speakers in my 2x12 Marshall cab and thought I'll give this dude a Try, coupled with my Timmy Pedal WOW!!!!! This amp is a GAIN MONSTER!!!! it Inhales everything I throw at it. The Hotter the Signal the better this amp Sounds. Oh Yeah I went back to My Original 71'/74' 12M 16 ohm Green/Cremeback Speakers which is what I originally Started using the SRZ with a 4x12 BV Checkerboard GB Loaded Cab, Simplicity Never fails and I guess This is why the SRZ has been and ALWAYS will be with me. If you are looking for more maybe something a bit edgier.... give your trusty SRZ a shot. Did I mention it sounds Sick Straight in no Pedals needed just guitar and Cable!

The SRZ definately has the original DNA (that could be a name). Every time you go on braggin' about that amp I do remember the first time I played through one and felt the power.

IT SOUNDS GOOD STRAIGHT IN, but that amp INHALES Pedals! LITERALLY! I can stack or just use one and it sounds so rich and thick, I can get that Chugga Chugga Heavy Palm Muting Riffing tone and the Bass Just THUMPS!!! It never flubs or farts out. Even at High saturated Gain Levels it still remains so Clear and Defined. I came so close to buying a 2203 an original one, that was 14 Years ago. IT does the 800 thing plus so so much more. I have had this amp a LONG LONG TIME. It still sounds as good as it did when I first Got it!

Jamie is it safe to say you really like your SRZ? I'd love to have the reverb verion of the SRZ 65amp that I tried years ago at the NW Z Fest. It belongs to Blaine, he was not hearing anything to do with my offers for the amp and I don't blame him! I suspect a couple of folks would like to keep the original name. :-) "My daughter Sheree Roses Zaite-Glontz is also very happy as she gave birth to Evan Zaite-Glontz 7/7/2006, and a re-birth of her amp namesake the SRZ.
