Has anyone had to do this on an Antidote yet? I've never biased an amp before but my friend asked if the Antidote had bias points? Is it an easy job?
Thanks in advance.

No bias points, but if you know what you are doing and have the right tech gear it is fairly simple. The Weber Bias Rite is a simple enough tool to help you get the job done safely and correctly.

Check with the Z shop (repairs@drzamps.com). A lot of Dr Z's amps don't need to be rebiased; they're "self adjusting" as I understand it. Other Zs do need to be re-biased when changing tubes. There's a list of the amps on the Dr Z website under Bias Notes, but the Antidote is not (yet) listed. On Zs that I own that do require biasing, there are no external bias points. You have to go inside the amp, where there's a small adjustment pot(entiometer). Doing the work is relatively simple, especially if you get something like the Weber that doc001 mentioned or the Compu-Bias. I have the latter. It's basically paid for itself after four tube replacement jobs. There are a few modest safety precautions to follow if you do the work yourself as you are working with live high voltage.
