Hi guys,as the title says. I play the odd 2 piece gigs and would love to use the Max 38 head only to the desk. Using monitors as fold back and need a noiseless stage. Dummy load of some sort but which one. Thanks

Any attenuator with a line-out and dummy load will work. You'll probably still need a cab sim, though. Your EQ will be very shrill otherwise. I'd look for a dedicated box like the Palmer DI.

I believe you only need a dummy load if you're using the speaker out. If you have an FX loop you can go out the send to the Palmer.

Bonamassa uses a Palmer Speaker Simulator. His speaker cabs are unmiced. He goes from the amp to the simulator to the desk. If you are not going to use a cab your simulator will need to provide a load for the output trannie.
