Been messin' around w/the Ghia of late. Plugged the Ghia into a HUGE(big enuff for a 15/3 10s/2 12s) Ted Weber 1x12 tweed open back cab, loaded w/a Celestion Blue, that I bought while awaiting delivery of my CG back in '07. Since it's such a low-wattage speaker, it really doesn't get much play time around here. AND, since I put my CG "head" in a 1x10 combo cab, it has gotten even LESS. NOT fair!!! The Ghia & Blue were MADE for each other. EsPECIALLY, in the recording environment. Well, I decided to DO a little sumthin' sumpm' about that. The following, is the result..... Amps ~ Ghia Guitars ~ Acoustic.... Clardy #40 hand built DC-28 clone acoustic-electric Electric...... Epiphone Custom Shop Riviera P-93(335 w/trip P90s) Cabs ~ Weber 1x12 w/ Celestion Blue FX ~ Post delay on all, Lizard Leg Flying Dragon on the electric parts. Amp Vol ~ 10:00 Amp Tone ~ 2:30 Zero attenuation Mics ~ SM57 a ft back @ a 45 off the "edge" of the voice coil AKG condenser 12 ft. back/4 ft. up, @ a 45 off the cab PCNS cables www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=12146030&q=hi&newref=1As always........ Thx for your time.
