I was just checking the prices on the Z Verbs at Humbucker and notice that they have gone up $200. The black tolex is now $899 and the Silver ones are $1148. Is this a misprint or have they actually gone up that much? Just wondering.

No, that's correct. There was a posts about it not too long ago from Doc how he was actually under priced on the Z-Verb. drzamps.com/pricing.html

Doc was putting in almost the same effort building the Z-Verb as an amp. Had to be losing $ on each one he built. Glad I got mine when I did!

I lucked out and just picked up a second mint Z Verb on ebay shipped for $525.00 to use with my Soldano Hotrod 25. I bought a new one a couple years ago at $699 for my Stangray head and fell in love with it. $899.00 is a high price.............., but it is a quality build like everything the good Doc makes. I tried some reverb pedals, even a new TC Hall of Fame and they just don't come close to the real thing.

I'd love to have the matching verb for my silver Z-Wreck set, but without my dealer stocking them.....it's just not going to happen (the new wood panels seem to be really dark compared to the earlier runs).

You can try sanding the wooden facade, the tint and the varnish as your amp.My zverb is dark but even like that the set is beautiful
